Over the last six months, I have regularly prayed to know the mind of God with respect to the leaders (primarily the “general authorities”) of the LDS Church. The thought was that if I knew the mind of God, I would know how I should think and feel; I could then realign myself appropriately.
Tonight, while pondering this topic anew, the thought came into mind (understatement):
I, the Lord, will forgive whom I will forgive, but of you it is required to forgive all men (Doctrine and Covenants 64:10).
So, even if the Lord’s anger were to rage against his shepherds (see Ezekiel 34, especially verse 10 ), it would seem that my place would be to forgive. So, I guess that I have at least a partial answer.
